Matt is an industry thought leader in the rapidly evolving electric and gas utility sectors, with a vision for innovating energy-related products and services and an extensive knowledge of customer experience.

Rachel Reiss Buckley

Rachel Reiss Buckley has followed the rise of smart technologies as they have grown to enable customer-centric demand response and energy efficiency. She has also followed the evolution of demand-side management (DSM) departments as they transition into customer energy solutions teams. Today, as a member of the E Source senior team, Rachel collaborates with all E Source divisions to position the company as an essential utility partner. She works with cross-functional teams to determine the company’s strategy and engage clients with new solutions.

Cameron Brooks

Cameron Brooks is president of Tolerable Planet Enterprises, a strategic consulting firm focused on the intersection of energy market design, clean energy innovation, and consumer technologies. Tolerable Planet works with companies, advocates, and investors with a unique combination of regulatory engagement, business development, and policy advocacy. The company manages E9 Insight, a specialized database that tracks priority proceedings at regulatory commissions across the US.

Kenneth Black

Ken Black has been at E Source since 2001 in various roles, including company president. As chairman of the board, Ken focuses on utility strategic thought leadership, including executive customer relations, consulting, utility innovation, and industry conference presentations.

Alexandra Behringer

Alexandra Behringer oversees technical projects and initiatives for the software development team at E Source, and serves as product manager for the E Source Energy RFP software tool. Previously, Alex held various roles at E Source including director of portfolio management, senior manager for digital offerings and product manager for the E Source Business Energy Advisor. Before moving into software, she spent more than 10 years conducting research and analysis of a variety of residential and commercial energy-efficiency, demand-response, and renewable-energy programs.

Dawn Arnold

Dawn Arnold focuses primarily on the company’s Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) account. Dawn has almost 30 years of experience in the utility industry. She delivers E Source products and provides account management to TVA, 154 local power companies, state energy offices, and organizations within the TVA seven-state service area. She is responsible for developing and maintaining the relationships with these customers and develops and implements strategic plans focusing on engagement, sales, customer service, and business-line feedback.

Kevin Andrews

Kevin Andrews provides research and consulting services on demand-side management, distributed generation, and beneficial electrification to energy utilities. He responds to high-priority research inquiries with data analyses, practitioner interviews, and case studies. He also leads project ideation and management for complex research deliverables.

Shawn Silzer CCXP

Shawn Silzer has spent more than 25 years working in the utility sector and nearly 20 specifically in the electricity industry. His experience allows him to deliver consulting solutions in the areas of customer experience, journey mapping, and change management. Prior to joining E Source, he was the program manager for smart meter implementation at SaskPower, a vertically integrated utility serving 460,000 customers in Saskatchewan, Canada.

Lisa Schulte

Lisa Schulte helps utilities improve their customer experience, customer care operations, and digital experiences with customer data and feedback. She spends her time writing reports, providing one-on-one guidance to utility members, and leading events like leadership councils, web conferences, and peer sharing calls. Lisa previously worked at a market research firm working with brands including Clorox, Kingsford, Burt’s Bees, Paulaner, and Disney Interactive. Lisa holds dual degrees from Colorado State University.

Susanne Riis

Susanne Riis is responsible for member success and overall account engagement, providing superior customer service, member onboarding, training, and giving input to marketing and research regarding customer perceptions and needs. She serves as a primary point of contact for utility members, acting as a concierge into E Source products, services, research, tools, and consulting. Susanne's experience spans almost 20 years in marketing, sales, and account management working with clients in numerous industries, including solar as well as software and website localization.
