It was fairly easy to find most of the billing and payment information. Once I Googled the utility and found the home page, I first tried looking in "My account" but stopped when I was asked to log in. I then tried "Your service" which wasn't as clear to me what that was, but I found the Billing and Payment link. On that page, there were tons of options for how to pay my bill. At the bottom of the page were payment plan options. I also saw links for paperless billing and autopay options. When I clicked on those links I was told to log into SmartHub to change my mail bill options. I didn't login to see how many options there were but saw there was that option.

Most everything I was hoping to find was on one page, but I had to click to separate pages for the paperless billing and automatic payments information. Then I was asked to log in to make changes to the way I'm billed. I wanted to know if there were other options than mail, paperless, or automatic payments before I logged in. Headings weren't clickable and instead you have to click on a link within the text under the headings which isn't what I'm used to. However, all the links worked as I expected and pages loaded immediately, which was great!

Layout, text size, font, colors, and graphics I encountered were pleasing to the eye. The amount of information provided about options was the right length and not too overwhelming. Headings were easy to see, but they weren't clickable.

The information provided was concise, informative and helpful. Titles made sense or had a good definition to explain what the option was. For example, I didn't really know what SmartHub was so it was helpful to have an explanation for how it differed from the "pay online" option. I felt the method in which you get your bills sort of hidden, as well as the way the utility bills you. I wanted to know if there were other options than mail, paperless, or automatic payments before I logged in but it was helpful to know that those primary options existed. I did like when it explained if any fees were involved without having to click to learn more, though.

You've been paying and receiving your bills the same way for years and want to know what options are available for how you can pay your bills, the method in which you get your bills, and the way the utility bills you. Attempt this via a computer.
