Navigating to the "pay now" and "make a payment" buttons was ok. I Googled the utility, clicked on the utility's website, clicked "My account" at the top of the page, logged in, and was taken to a page where there are lots of things you can do, including pay your bill. I would have liked the option to pay my bill from the utility's home page for few clicks. Also, the first things you see when logging in are "Communication/Alerts" and "View and Manage My Usage." While important, I'd rather see account information first.

The links all seem to be good to go. I felt the site was current and reliable, and that I could easily use it to pay my bill when I needed to. There were four different ways you could pay your bill from the account home page and all took you to the same page to submit payment.

The pay now buttons are different colors with bold lettering so it really helps you quickly and easily see how to pay your bill. The way each section is organized in its own little box is helpful.

The my account page showed the amount I owed and when it was due. I didn't really understand the difference between "amount" and "total due" and I didn't really understand the purpose of the "see more" option. It showed the same information that's just above it, but in smaller font. I was expecting to see new information. I also would have expected to see my account overview and amount due before the advertisements at the top for the management tools and the communications section. I did like that you could save $1.50 monthly by enrolling in Auto Pay with a checking or savings account, and an additional $1 monthly by going paperless. I could find out if I'll get charged for paying with a credit card.
