It was very easy to navigate through the options. Reporting a gas leak was one of the first possible options, after the option to hear the instructions in Spanish, so it was a very fast and easy process to navigate to reporting a leak. It was both logical and quick, and as soon as I selected that option I was immediately transferred to speak with an agent, which was assuring that had there been a real leak, I would have been able to reach an agent quickly. For Report an Outage, the path was similar and also quite easy. I did wish it didn't ask me for my account information for this step, but I still got to an agent quickly.

This was a very efficient task, and within a few seconds of calling about a gas leak, I was on hold with an agent to report the gas leak. For reporting a power outage, I would have preferred an option to allow me to bypass the account information that it asked for. In an emergency, I'd rather not have that extra step.

The tone of voice was a tad shrill, but easy to understand and very consistent. I found that the voice was a tad slow, but that in part was what made it very easy to understand what the IVR said.
