Overall the navigation was annoying and unhelpful. First, when I called the phone doesn’t even ring, it just jumps to a welcome message that is already partially cut off. The IVR kept cutting out and at times the woman’s voice skipped and I couldn’t hear what she was saying. I pressed the bill selection because I thought that would get me to information on my power being turned on or off, but after navigating through poor options and putting in my account info I could not find it. I was surprised by the limited options under billing and I disliked how long it took the male voice to read back my account number and address. It felt archaic and his inflections sounded like a machine, not a person. I had a difficult time understanding the navigation because the voice had awkward pauses and tones. I had to hang up and try again since there was no way to go back to the main option. For my second attempt I tried pressing Other, but my option was not listed there either. I was surprised I could contact the IVR for tree trimming and change my phone number but not find information about my power being turned on or off.
