Daniel Merchant leads E Source’s Sales and Account Management teams. He’s passionate about providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process and during members’ interactions with E Source and its innovative solutions. He has more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry, with a specialization in customer recruitment and retention. Before joining E Source, Daniel held executive roles in customer service and client relations, business development, marketing, and operations. Daniel understands that taking care of E Source’s members also means taking care of E Source. He has applied this notion throughout his career in positions at organizations including Green Mountain Power, AESP, CLEAResult, and most recently at his own company, Merchant Client Solutions. In addition to leading E Source’s business-development efforts, Daniel is spearheading the company’s efforts to obtain member feedback and translate it into priorities for E Source’s program and executive teams. This focus will result in a better member experience and the continuous improvement of relevant, member-specific services that benefit members and the company. He holds a BS in chemical engineering from Clarkson University.
