Clare provides research, analysis, and consultation to members on DSM topics, with a particular focus on demand-response and load management programs. Prior to joining E Source, she was an analyst with an energy-efficiency implementation company, where she coordinated and wrote proposals for small business energy-efficiency programs. Clare holds a BA in physics with a minor in mathematics from Whitman College and an M.Engr. in materials science and engineering from the University of California, Davis. Her academic research focused on improving the efficiency of electronic materials and understanding properties of emerging solar materials.
