Christopher Wedding, CEO of g-bit, is an adviser, entrepreneur, and professor focused on finance, innovation, and business development in solar power and green building. He has 18 years of experience in private equity, start-up incubation, leadership development, teaching, and research. Christopher is the cofounder of g-bit (the Green Business Informatics Tool), a research firm in green building and clean energy finance; the founder of IronOak Innovations, a solar finance and business development company; a senior advisor at Cherokee Investment Partners, an environmentally focused private equity firm; and a faculty member with Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School, the Institute for Defense and Business, and Duke Corporate Education.​ He holds an MS and a PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BS in environmental science from Western Kentucky University.
