Optimizing Con Edison’s electric vehicle messaging through ethnographic research
Consulting case study

Con Edison recently partnered with E Source to conduct a thorough ethnographic research project to understand how residents would feel about the addition of 38 curbside electric vehicle (EV) chargers to their already busy streets. Based on the results, Con Edison developed a hyperlocal launch that highlighted EV owners in the community, spread awareness of EVs, and addressed the community’s concerns.
